No smell since plant started flowering?

I've got my first plant into it's (i think) 7th week now, probably indica. It always made my bedroom smell when i first got home from work each day and after it got big enough i decided to put the timer on 12/12. After a few days i noticed pairs of white pistils growing out of the stems and the plant would grow an extra inch in height every 1-2 days, the only thing that is puzzling me is the plant is smelling slightly less each day. I was expecting to smell it the second i walked through the front door TBH but it's just getting bigger and smelling less.

Is this just a 'quiet' period before it starts to stink the whole house out or do i have a backwards plant? lol
