I was listening to the radio today and one dispensary was going to be allowed to stay open because the same judge that ruled it be opened due to law refused to suspend his own order.

They (the county attorney I believe) are going to appeal to a higher court to attempt to put an injunction on the dispensary because it is breaking federal law.

This may or may not be related to the dispensary you are referring to.

The state is pissed at the judge so they hit us where it hurts, patients. This does not clarify what's happening in depth, any info would be much appreciated. It seems they will grant the right to operate even without meds solely for cultivation facility purposes???

``There can be however much time between getting their operating license and actually beginning operations,'' said Will Humble, Health Services Department director. ``The quantities that are available for patients will be limited to a fair amount ... until the cultivating facilities are up and running.''

Operational without meds?

Talk about adjusting AMMA and the letter of the law over night, Irie im waiting for you to go ape shit on these mofos. Patients will be limited to a fair amount? Who the fuck judges that, this seems like a plot to rid the state of home growers not give back the rights.. The Tucson dispensary has booked appointments solid for the next six weeks, maybe each patient can buy an over priced gram or an eighth, quarter MAX. What a scam to keep the op cert.

Humble again, "That doesn't mean that every patient gets what they want.'' Great, think about this, go to Walgreens to fill your script and have the pharmacist say you only get one pain pill even though your script says 25 pills. Sorry supply is limited and there are no other pharmacies around so we need to keep one pill for everyone so they can get a taste of relief.

Nice job making this a seriously medically oriented program Arizona and those who claim to be so deeply involved in this sespool. 30k patients paid the state to have a safe outlet and now every patient can hoard a gram until the next idiot caregiver donates some trash to these profiteering businesses.

Ha - i love this! ``Somehow in the real world, my clients are worried that the citizen isn't going to come in and say `here, dispensary, have my marijuana and I'll come back tomorrow and buy it from you ...'''

Article:
Caregivers can donate marijuana either for altruistic reasons or for their own self-interest if they hope to be eventually hired as growers for dispensaries, said Doug Banfelder, an insurance agent who is a co-founder the Arizona Wellness Chamber of Commerce.

Donate a single lb of true dank, worth $3k wholesale in the current market (theoretically), with hopes of getting employed for $30-40k a yr? That an expensive resume and even if it was the BEST meds in AZ, that grower probably would not get the job.. So now the dispensary will double up on that pound and make 10% of your yearly salary, overnight, with your work to which you paid all operating expenses.. Oh please, please sign me up for this..

FYI, from mine and others experiences, many of these owners dont give a flying fuck about genetics and quality growers, its simply the dollar that drives them, whats new? Patients are supporting Arizona Organix and SAIT even with sub par meds and outrageous prices, shit is sad.

Complete Bullshit.... It would take a moron to believe such a thing....

If your skills are up to par, there would be no margin to display talents...

I think after 1 LBS of medicine the dispensary would know right away whether the person can grow or not... (Don't forget about the "pretenders" - folks who buy and resale others grows.. Seeing alot more Cali herb)

The number reflect a person who wants to never make a living and live eating Roman Noodles.!

As of right now giving freely to the dispensaries is legal but a patient/caregiver can NOT be compensated, reimbursed or paid in any type of way for the medicine. Wait until these dispensaries start getting hassled by the "Compliance Officer".

Complete bullshit...

If cultivating is a passion and you intend to help other patients/caregivers legally, I advise folks to study the AMMA and the Rules set forth by the Az ARS and the AzDHS.... Very short and simply Act & rules.... Makes the difference with 2AM visits!

Shit if I was gonna go give away medicine it would he to the people waiting in line in those pics. This state is such a joke. The people running it are too stupid to even be aware of what they are doing. If this does not disillusion any stragglers about the motives of the state and will humble then people need to wake up. Dispensary owners fucked themselves the minute they alienated the growing community with their monopoly via the 25 mile rule and inability for caregivers to sell them product. I have been preaching this hard line since the law was first passed. We are not the first Med state, we are not the biggest, poorest, richest, most republican Med state. There is nothing about Arizona that would tell us things would go differently here than they have anywhere else. Look to the states with the most successful programs. What about this monopoly idea seems like it was actually going to work or be implemented to work? I think that some folks with money ( dispensary owners) are starting to realize that. Look at the successful oprations . Why do you think all the serious players opened caregiver collectives first? And more importantly for the future why do you think none of them have opened up their dispensary?

As far as the state goes. Fuck them! Learn the law, know your rights and act accordingly. I would treat the state like a rabid animal. Not to be trusted at all but they can not violate the law. The law is your boundary stay within it and the state can't bite you. If they do try and bite your use your rights to keep them at bay.
