hi all,
ok here the deal i got bout 40 seeds simply sat em on cotton wool near my window kept it moist, when they got their white sprouts i filled egg cartons with pottin mix an dropped a sprouted seed into each groove in the egg cartons. 1 week they were up an about, after 2 weeks i cut them all seperate with the carton still on the bottm then dropped each into little pots with potting mix with carton still on bottom (prevents shock to the plant an the roots just grow straight through then it rots away). the got their 3 an 4th leaf sets so i repotted into full sized pots with 1/2 dirt 1/2 potting mix.... they are growin great... got a few pics on in my account take a look an give this ago its cheap, easy an produces good choofa
hope ive helped

I find that those egg carton's don't degrade fast enough, for healthy root growth. They need a lot of water in the soil some times to much....BEWARE OF THE EGG CARTON

that is a good point, might wanna cut a nice slice in the bottom before you pot it so the root growth isn't stunted. but i don't know anything about egg cartons, always used jiffy pots myself

it seams like the netting should break fairly easy, however i was told on overgrow that it does sometimes stunt it, and i always take it off just before planting, i remember looking at a 2 inch thick stem, from 3 years ago, that still had a small lining of the netting protruding from the soil, untill harvest.
