I am going to be working on my new setup! I have a spot that has enough space to get back into my favorite hobby. However, It is just a concrete slab that has uninsulated studded walls and I need to do a shit ton of work before I get any of my equipment set up.
Special shoutout to 12/12 seeds @Senokai this will be my first ever dive into 12-12 from seed growing. I think it will suite this grow style well and be a good showcase of the free seeds I've gotten
I want to mention I won a give away from them about a year or a year and a half ago-- they sent me multiple seeds and I've been holding onto them. I mixed 2 of the packs up on accident but I don't really care about that just know the strains might be mixed up. For this reason, the run out of this packet which I will include once I get going I will label them all as numbers with question marks and the original label so that way in the future I can figure out what two strains I mixed up on accident. Just recently I won multiple packs of seeds from them so to pay it back to them I'm going to run only 12/12 seeds and do it in 12/12 or so. I really appreciate yall sending me the seeds and I am excited to get into growing again!
So to start this journal off, I will be doing small steps. I need to clean out the area, seal it, add an exterior door or block off, insulate and drywall, then put the equipment in. I have so much equipment all I really have to worry about is renovating the space so I can get back into this hobby. I really want to grow veggies but I think I will keep that outside. Next year if all goes well I'll be doing SIPS planters with soil I've made and I'll put that in this journal too, so really this will be a hybrid journal of what I end up doing with this new small space and following the winter what ends up happening outside.
