Nitrogen question

Team-
Typically during veg I use Alaska fish fertilizer
5-1-1. I have an outdoor grow that looks like it might have a nitrogen deficiency and I don't have any left. Would it be better for me to get something with a higher N if I'm using it just for the nitrogen like big bloom 6-4-4. I'm already using Tiger Bloom 2-8-4 I just think I need to do a couple feedings to up the nitrogen. I'm also growing some peppers that the lower leaves are starting to yellow as well and I've basically been doing the same fertilizer in the same feeding schedule with those so that's another reason why I think it's a nitrogen problem

How do you use those? Just sow them into the top of soil a couple of inches deep? That won't damage any of the roots? Do you use that during flour as well?
I toss them on top of the soil. I dont mix them into the soil, but you can. Ive never seen any root damage. Im using some of those pellets for my current crop in the greenhouse, and the pictures would suggest that my plants look very healthy.
My soil mix is pretty loaded with nutes and all types of beneficial microbes. I still like using small amounts of slow release pellets. It makes things a little easier and the plants dont experience any deficiencies.
