Nitrogen problems

I have slf diagnosed my problem with my plants as a nitrogen deficency. One of my buddes recommended that I raise my nitrogen levels and raise my ph to 7. I get the nitrogen part but has anyone heard of doing this to your ph?

for soil, I like having my soil ph between 6.2-6.8 for maximum absorption of nutrients

Not many details there buddy . Whats your current PH value ? If its too low u might not have an nitrogen problem could be nutrient lockout due to bum PH .

my ph I try to keep around 6 its always rising tho, and its a ebb aand flow system. I think it was nut lock out because my ppm were around 1000. plants are about 2ft tall and just rdy to put in bloom. Guess the ppms should be around 500?
