Nirvana WW

This WW is coming on it's 6th week flowering. It still has some time before it's ready but I have a good feel for how the strain grew.

This is one of two other females and this is the biggest. It stands about 4ft, including the bucket. 5 seeds out of the 10 pack were sprouted, vegged for 4 weeks under CFL's. Many showed sex before induced. All vegging plants seemed very healthy. Males were culled, 3 females remain.

Soil: Generic Lowe's seed-starter and perlite mix.
Nutes: Fox Farm trio
Veg 18/6 with 200W of CFL, Flower 12/12 with 400W HPS in cooltube.
PH checked regularly. Molasses will be used in final two weeks.

I hear a lot of trash talk about buying Nirvana genetics. However, I have had no problems with these at all. Every once in a while a weird-shaped leaf would pop out but otherwise it has been very robust. The smell is strong and fruity right now, odor control is needed.

My last large plant was about the same size and yielded a little over 3 Oz of fluffy sativa bud. https://www.rollitup.org/seed-strain-reviews/183765-auto-ak47-large-phenotype.html This plant has much more dense buds and I'm excited to see it fatten up in the coming weeks.

I am very pleased and will use Nirvana genetics in the future for testing different strands. I like paying $35 for a 10 pack instead of $100+. In the future, I might have to throw down for the real deal but I would rather experiment with cheaper genetics while I'm in my beginning years of growing.

Anyone have any favorite strains from Nirvana? I've heard that their Bubblicious is excellent.

It's very easy growing. I haven't had to do anything besides feed it regularly every other watering. Besides that, it's on autopilot. It should be done in 3-4 weeks at he most.

Have you had a chance to smoke the Papaya yet?

i've had 2 papaya harvest. the first one i chopped when most of the trichs were first starting to amber up. a real good fun smoke. you could still think. the 2nd harvest i let the buds turn red before i chopped. this stuff will put you on your ass and you won't care. both tasted the same a sweet mild smoke with a really nice after taste. my non smoking wife says it reminds her of her grandpa's pipe smoke. grandpa smoking the good stuff? i will always keep a stash of papaya close to me. but then again i have nothing to compare to. that was my first 2 grows that wern't bagseed. i'll tell you about some blue mystic in a month or so. and some northern light and hindu kush in 3 or 4. i'm starting a new journal, check it out.

I checked out your grow, a very fun read. Can't believe they held in until the end (after that pesky vacation)!

It's be a week since I last took that picture. The buds have swelled even more since then and the trics are starting to get cloudy. It hardly has any red hairs though....? I see why she is the "white widow". Looks like I might harvest the small one earlier. The smell is very strong and makes me drool.

Temp and humidity are starting to become an issue in the heat of summer. I have no AC, just the properties of the basement and a cooltube. My temps max at 83 but the humidity hovers around 70%. So far, they don't seem to give a damn. It still gets below 70 at night, though and there is great ventilation. No sign of mold.

i wouldn't worry with the temps until they start getting in the 90's. keep a fan blowing on them and humidity won't be a problem either

Comparison......
My white widow at 3 weeks. Did yours look similar at this time? I am using 420-seeds.com white widow max. I think yours is more sativa heavy, at least thats what the site says, you flower time is 11+wks, mine is 8-10, (just throwing out the basic info) Heres the photos.....

Your leaves are definitely fatter and wider than mine are. I must say though, beautiful looking plants you have there. I'm sure they'll be chunkers.

Hahaha, I didn't know mine were listed as 11+ weeks. That's ridiculous! They seem to be on course for a 9 week harvest but if not, they must be getting ready to put on a lot more bud. I don't know why else it would take so long.

Thought I'd throw up some recent pics. These were taken today at the end of their 7th week. I'm thinking of flushing now, although I'm using Fox Farms nutes, and looking to harvest around the 9th week. Of course, it all depends on how they ripen, but a lot of trichs have gone from clear to cloudy in the past several days. :bigjoint:

Thanks kevin, that's what I thought about the Fox Farms. I'll still probably flush their pots once or twice before I chop them. Who knows, they could have a while longer...

I've got the pics of Nirvana's White Widow, kevin grows the Papayas.

Also, I just ordered some Nirvana Ice and Bubblelicious from Attitude. I hear great things about Nirvana's Bubblelicious.

i'm wanting to do some bubblelicious, need to use these beans that i have already.

nirvana is a good place to order from, so far they have came thru 3 out of 3. the longest it took was 3 weeks, the last order took 7 days.
i don't think they are the cheapest, but their line of genectics are soppose to be one of the best.
