Can anyone advise me where would be a good place to buy the equipment to set up a newby grow? I would be looking to use CFLs, hopefully one 250watt grow CFL. I would also be looking at growing with soil. It will be my first proper grow but I've been lurking and reading the forum here for a few years. Any and all advice and also a place to buy everything needed for the grow from seeds to harvest equipment and everything in between is appreciated. I'm am in the Toronto area at the moment. Thanks.

hey dude this is going to sound soo strange but you can get everything you need for a nice grow space from dollarama !! theres on one young an welsley that has everything you need mylar tents an shit just get the bulbs from lows they have 300watt cfl bulbs for 12.00 bucks each witch is a steal let me know how things work out for u bro !!
Thanks guys. I'm thinking of getting one of these for the grow. http://www.1000bulbs.com/product/8376/FC200-35872.html. I know it's more of a flowering light but it should be ok for the whole process right? I'll get a full spec one later on. Can anyone point me in the direction of a reliable Canadian seed bank? Or any good strains for a beginner? I'd be looking for a quick flowering strain mainly to get a few quick trial runs under my belt. Any other advice is also appreciated. Thanks.
So far what I'd be planning is a 200 watt CFL 2700k, 5 female Nirvana Swiss Cheese seeds and the ultimate grow kit. One office desk fan and then pots and soil. Is there anything else I need or would anyone change anything that I've mentioned so far? I will be growing in a small closet so I don't know if I'd be able to put in any extra fans. Is this ok? Is there anyway around it? Thanks in advance.
