Hello all!!
I'm glad to be here and learn as much as possible from everyone, hopefully one day I can return the favour.
As the title states I am trying to set up my nft system, the questions I have are:
1. how much air space should there be between the top of the water flow and the basket?
2. how big of baskets should I use, i assume pretty small but is 2" round big enough or should I go 3" or bigger? (trough is 3" uv stable pvc)
3. in the basket, so the seedling doesn't fall through do i put gravel, grow rocks, rock wool, or at least some kind of medium? I'm pretty sure I am supposed to but I don't want to screw up too bad first try...
