Newbie needs help

Hi everybody
Hope your green fingers are having more luck than mine.
I have an issue with my first outdoor plant that I could sure use some advice with please

I don't have much and figured that nature grows this stuff then so can I "as natural as I can"
I live in a nice warm climate and only use the sun .
As for feeding i did start off with some nutrient pellets from a well known website and I think they have all but been absorbed by now so I am using natural nutrients - banana peel
- egg shells
- coffee grounds (used) blended together and soaked for 24hr

She has been growing nicely since June 2nd and is about to start budding any time soon but she has started turning yellow and loosing leaves from the bottom up....
Is is a 22 week grow and will not last if this carries on at This rate...
Since I have noticed a figured the pellets have ran out I have added some mixed feed to the soil and nothing has changed
Help somebody please....im loosing her!!!

Bottom leaves yellowing sounds like she'd like some nitrogen. A well balanced water soluble fertilizer will be absorbed faster than dry fertilizers (pellets) which need to break down before they're available. For about $15 - $20 you can buy a bottle of Neptunes or similar liquid fertilizer. Even cheaper if you go with Alaska fish bottled nutes, which I think Walmart, Lowes and Home Depot carry.

Good luck.

Get some Potash watered in. Sounds like it needs K. Use woodash to keep it organic.

I only have a small-ish terrace and veranda to pot in.

And I do not live in the US so going to Wal-Mart will be somewhat difficult lol

With most Western diets human pee is 11-2-1, which is about as good a veg food as you will find. In Africa they have used it on cotton, corn and the like for ever. You are too close to flower to be using tons of high N food, but a 1/4 cup per gallon of water will perk it up.

I also use a lot of coffee ground compost in my soil mixes. I save mine from home and work {with help from my co-workers}. If there is a breakfast cafe or the like near you, you can ask about getting used grounds from them. They are very high in N. But it's better to let them break down for a few months before using. I keep mine in a plastic tote. I just add to it every week, stirring in the new grounds.

And those egg shells need to be roasted before adding if possible.

Good luck.

How about 1 raw egg mixed into half ltr of water poured into the soil? Gotta be better than piss haha
Google it.

When my Daddy did a walking tour of France and Germany in 1945, he said every farm house had a big tank in the basement to collect pee. From the cows and the people. It's been used as long as we have been farming.

Shit, I use my piss to keep mammals away from my garden as an added line of defense to my rabbit fence. Especially by my strawberries. I do it between rains to keep the scent strong. Works like a charm. Rabbits and squirrels avoid my garden like I am sitting out there with a shotgun 24/7!

Be careful not to splash any on the plants. Lots of stuff love all the minerals in pee.
