Newbie Needs Help for Indoor Growing ..

  • Hey guys , Im a beginner of the indoor growing and feeling happy about to be a part of this community . I have 6 indica plants that Im growing in my closet and they are in vegatative phase. Since Im a beginner I am not well informed of too many aspects of this indoor growing thing. I bought a little fan from target and I believe Its not enough to make the proper ventilation. According to my researches , the temperature has to be in the ratio of 75 F to 85 F but mine goes around 90 F even I let my window open ..Frankly I can tell I have an airflow / ventilation problem that I feel worry about . I also bought a FloraNova Nutrient since I was told It makes the process faster and beneficial for the leaves and plant itself. I add a one table spoon of it in my gallon water and use it 2 days at a time on soil . Some of my plants leaves are turning yellow.

    I believe I need to do some actions about my ventilation and this '' turning yellow '' issue . Here are some pictures of my plants , I hope you can see the problems that I mentioned and guide me better on it

That looks like a noot burn , when starting noots , about 1/4th of what the bottle says. Not sure on how to fix it also a newbie but someone will tell you how . Good luck and happy smoking bongsmilie

Wow that's ALOT of food for babies.

You usually don't feed babies and dependent on your soil. It probably already has nutrients in it to sustain life for 3-6/mo. Also when feeding plants you alternate schedules with water. When soil is dry up to first knuckle water just water; next time its dry water with water and nutes, repeat each time. As for heat, heat up to 90F with proper air flow/ventilation will not cause wilting or yellowing. However you say its in a closet, how does air get in and out of the closet. A fan pushing around increasingly hotter air is not going to help.

Heat concern yes, over feeding a bigger concern. Try not to over parent its the the mistake we are all guilty of, let it grow and learn around it. Be hesitant to try a list of things you are told will work wonders for your crop. Although it might, when not understood or used properly usually results in smaller crops. Most importantly have fun!

Yellowing of leaves is usually a sign of Nitrogen dficiency, but for those babies, I wouldn't feed it too soon, your soil should be enough, do you have good drainage in your pots?, you don't mention what your light is, that may be a problem, without knowing what it is, hard to tell, what kind of soil is that? seems to me that fan should be efficient for now
