I have a 1 gallon aerogarden with one plant in it and have some questions regarding meter reading. I have the milwaukee 3 in 1 meter and using liquid earth nutrients Vigor and grow. my plant was started from seed and just over a month old. doing my readings today here is what i got:

ec is 2.85, ph 6.0, ppm 1970

I believe my ph is good but not sure about the others and looking for some input. yesterday was the first day I added the nutrients and added 1 tsp of vigor and 2 tsp of grow to my filtered water solution.

EC is way higher then what any of my girls can handle, but I don't see burning in your girl. She's beautiful. +rep

When I switch to flower I like to pull my pH down to about 5.8 and be prepared to gradually cut back on the EC during flower too.

Best way to know how the girls are handling EC is to measure and record every day. If it goes up as they drink they want more water less food. If it goes down as they drink they want more food less water.

How big are the roots? With only 1 gallon, you may need to switch to flower soon.

I read and appreciate your response and asking what do you keep your EC around? 2.0? I measured it again tonight and it is down to 2.7.

It doesn't matter what others keep theirs at. What matters are your numbers when your plant is healthy. If your plant is healthy, record your numbers, and do it everyday. As stated, if the EC goes up, add back ph adjusted water only. If the EC goes down, add back nutrient mixed ph adjusted solution. If the numbers stay steady, you have found exactly what your plants are looking for.
