Newbie here under construction

First and foremost respect to all those on this site who actively contribute info and provide advice. I have learned a mountain of information so far just from reading through posts and I'm sure there's plenty more to learn being that I have NEVER done this before. So I am open to any and all advice as I am currently constructing my setup and already need help.

Supplies: 12 site bubble flow hydro system with 25 gallon reservoir, 2 solar storm 880s leds, 10 x 10 gorilla grow tent. Ph up ph down. Scrog net. Hydroton rocks and rockwool cubes.

Needed supplies: this is where I need help! I know I will need some kind of exhaust as well as intake fans and definitely a carbon filter being that smell is an issue. I have already outlined and set up all supplies as mentioned above but haven't plugged it up and started running. I already have ph up as well as ph down but will be looking to buy nutes. I will be buying a heat tray with germination dome but want to have everything set up before I do that. What else is needed? I feel like I have got the big part out the way but I still need to finish with the exhaust ducting fans etc. Any advice will greatly help as I don't know what I'm doing apart from watching videos and reading your forums.

I guess I'm asking if you guys had the materials I have what would you do next? I know I have some math to do regarding ducting and voltage/watt usage and blowing a circuit so ill take help with that to. Ill stay active on this post and appreciate any advice provided.......

Figure out many cfms are needed to exhange the air in ur tent every....i think 5 mins. There are calculators on the net for it. Leds arent as hot as HIDs so i think ur thinking it will get that hot in there. Im pretty sure it will be much less hot in there compared to if u were running 4 thousands (hid). Sounds like ur have a pretty tight setup. Also take into consideration the envioronment that the tent will be in. Is climate controlled? Sub level? If it gets hot around the tent u will have issues controlling temps with just fans. Ive only had two runs but best advice i can give u is get ur environment dialed in before you introduce plants. Much easier to mess with her with nothing in it. Then when u do have gurls u will know the in and outs on how to control the environment. Hope this helps. Peace and keep reading. tremendous amount of knowledge on here. Just dont believe EVERYTHING u read.

And im doin a side by side with living organics and CYCO nutes. And i gotta say that cyco nutes is pretty sweet (im an organic guy so believe me it really aint my cup of tea). I used botanicares organic line first run and i gotta say cyco so far is getting me better results. But just my opinion. Im also just finishing a 6 week veg... havent seen fkowering results.

Well I appreciate the advice anyway. The tent is in a room in a house that's air conditioned so I have control over the temp as far as that is concerned. I can adjust inside the can accordingly I guess. I hear you though on temperature control and testing. So how do I continuously provide co2 Inside the tent? With ducting connected to an inline fan ?

U gonna have c02 in there air already. Being a noob i wouldnt be too worried bout c02 right now. Learn to listen to the plants. The environment around the tent will provide air. Bring in air from the vents on the bottom of the tent and if u wanted u could setup a small inline for intake (i like hyperfan ALOT!). But make sure u have much more cfms for exhaust. Say maybe one 4 or 6 inch for intake and 2 8s for exhaust. But that all depends on how hot it gets in there. Set up ur lights and see. Make sure ur have monitors for temp and humidity (forgot about that....based on where u live u need to address humidity). After a couple days of lights runninh in there u will have a much better idea of what type of fans u need. Or what other cooling avenues u might wanna take. Get that environment right then i would suggest doin lots of reading on journals with ur hydro setup. Best way to learn alot fast.

And if u really want c02 i heard exhale bags or something like that work well. Happy growing to ya.

Ohhhhh. Ok slow moment lol. So oxygen is provided from environment outside tent and I should be worrying about releasing hot air buildup from inside the tent that's generated from lights . And if needed insert small intake line ok ok I'm going to hang lights and turn on. already have thermometer for humidity and temp. Thnx again now I know what to do before buying fan and exhaust

Yes oxygen will come from there but i know outside c02 is 300ppm or something like that and thats enough for plants. I dont know what it will be in a climate contolled house. But ur ac should help u control if not actually do the job for ur heat. But like i said i dont (nor do u) know how hot it will get in there. Time to find out. Peace.
