newbie grower any advice?

So I have two plants that are about a month old. They look pretty good so far but not like the other plants I see on here of a comparable age. Any help is welcome I'll post pictures tonight. They seem lanky and not as many leaves as I'd hoped for. They're about 9 inches tall and a foot wide

Probably a light issue, but you haven't told us anything about your grow, so it's hard to even guess anything.

As a beginner grower don't expect your plants to be anywhere near what you see of some of the plant online.

These guys have been doing it for years, perfected their techniques, and are maximizing their resources.

Unless you're going to spend thousands of dollars on your set up for the best gear, don't compare your homegrown to the professional stuff.

Good genetics and decent gear will give you everything you'll want.

That being said, your plant sounds fine for a month.
