Hey gang, avid reader here for several months and I have some questions for my first grow. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I am using a 78"x48"x24" metal cabinet that will be kept in my basement. The average temps in the area it will be stored is 60 degrees.
I have a 400w HPS light and will use DWC/Bubbles with the "cooler" appreciated idea I found on this sight. (thank you)!!
My main question is what type of ventilation will I need for this? I have a window right behind the cabinet that I was going to run a 360 cfm bathroom vent from the top of my box out the window underneath my deck with 3 passive intakes at the bottom of the cab.
The 400w has a cool tube, should I run another fan blowing on the light? If so do I need another exhaust for that? Will I need a carbon filter for odor control or will the vent fan on top run most of it out of the house, also have an ozone generator in the room with the cabinet.
Any advice here or links to similar designs would be a great help, I have looked and really can't find a clear answer.
My seeds get here soon and I would like to test the cab for light and temps and get a grow with bag seed in the next few weeks, feed me jedi masters!
