newbie coco grower,old soil grower

hey there
i started my new grow after a very long break
i decided going with coco this time although all my other experience with growing was with soil.
i had to learn some new tricks for coco :)
gladly i must say that i have never seen my girls healhtier than in coco.
i don't know about other people's experience but the main diffrence i see is in two paramaters
1-it's almost imposible to over water coco and i tend to over water out of care for the plants of course :) so this time i couldn't over water
2-i have never had such balanced and healthy plants
easy nutrition easy maintanance and alot of quit in this grow
but that's not why i'm opening this post
i'm going to load pics when i get back home so you guys can tell me how fucked am i gonna be
:)

i decided to grow 4 plants in a closet 50*90cm
i bought a few seeds online through attitude and for now i'm very happy with the genetics
4 girls out of 4
i have blueberry #1 from dutch passion(a personal favourite)
laughing buddah barney's seeds(my roomates personal favourite from his last trip to amsterdam)
spoetnik which i got from a friend here
and super white devil samsara (which wasn't so impressing so far)
now this closet is sufficient enough to grow for the veg state
but as soon as these puppies grew they became huge
my blueberry is about 1.40meters high
after that the laughing
the pictures will probably show a mix of 4 plants in a jungle of green
i don't think it would be easy to understand throught a picture what's going on there but you can try :)
luckily i have a cool tube so even though the plants already reached the lights it mostly burned leaf matter of fan leaves and nothing main
i wanted your guys opinion on how bad is the lack of space gonna hurt my yield
if there is any chance of mold because of not enough space
and what to expect from a coco flowering
i mean i know the rate of development with coco is alot faster
after a month the blueberry was already ready for flowering maybe even a week earlier but the rest weren't
i started flowering after about 5 weeks in veg
and so far this has been the third week of flowering
i'm supposed to start blooming phase after this week
how do you guys schedule veg part flower part bloom part
and do i wash the plant in the last week or not?

Hi ya Angeldust :)

mmmm I loooove Coco :)
when you start your flower period is up to you , But the standard time is anything from 4 to 8 weeks of veg ... then 6-8 weeks in flower .

Flushing in Coco is not really requierd but some argue that it's a good thing and can produce a less harsh smoke , I flush in the last 2 weeks with plain water , However , This time i have flushed and added a mix of Pure Honey as a test case :)

Tell us a bit more about your set up :)

Welcome to RiU

well i'm going in my roommates closet
the area is 50*90 which turnd out to be wayyyy wayy too small
i'm running a 400watt super deluxe both spectrums(forgot the exact name)
in a cool tube
compressor cools the tube and sends the air in the closet out to the carbon exhaust
that way i hit to eggs in one basket or something like that :)
i have a medium 6" vent for the airflow - not setup idealy,i had to set it up on the top although i wanted it in the bottom,in the end i had it just set down with a simple cardboard aiming the airflow downwards
but as soon as the plants grew enough i had to take the cardboard off and the airflow went straight on the cooltube
this had two effects
one the air near the cooltube will always be refreshed and will be cooled even further and second it gave the plants more space in the closet to get light from the sides of the lights as much as possible
my furts are hessi starters kit and i must say i am very pleased with the results
my problem being my grow went too well so i have no complains to the furts
but i didn't have any reverse osmosis or gray water... i had clean old tap water
my ph and ec in the water is horrible
i am afraid to even tell them but here it goes
my ph is at about 7.2 which isn't so bad in tap water i think globe wide
but my ec is about 0.8 which is the real nutcracker
it gave me alot of problems in the beginning but because i had a very low budget i had to suffiece with that and work with it

my plant feeding schedule went something like this
first week 0.8 ec (big mistake it stunned my plants for about a week or so but i didn't read my ec meter right) 5.7 ph
second week 0.4 ec(just to let them relax for a bit and recover)
third week 0.8 ec(well they recovered very well and the blueberry mainly started growing very fast)
fourth week 1.2 ec(let them have some more boost, all started developing pretty well other than one)
fifth week 1.5 ec(i wanted to get them ready for flowering so i could up the ec with ease, this was the last week of veg,the blueberry is about a meter high at this time)
sixth week1.7 ec(the start of the 12/12 period the blueberry is about 1.3 meters high already clogging most of the closet, the laughing buddah and the spoetnik are both after him but the fourth stays half stunned
seventh week 1.8ec(i've been watering too much from the begining about two times to three times a day almost from the begining,at first i didn't run to waste i used the water that went through the coco)
week nine 1.9ec(after the got to a certain size i started the run to waste, nothing that went through the plant went back... all to waste, their reactions were very good)
week ten 2ec(we started giving the plants the additive for bloom from hesi the pk 13/14 and am waiting to see it's effects on the bud sites, the blueberry is a true monster,a phenom, over 1.6 meters... hopefully he wont grow much more because i'm out of room
i will try to post their recent pictures
i'm just too lazy to recharge my cam and take normal pics but hopefully this weekend i'll post them
and maybe i can get some pointers on how to give most of the flowers light
because right now alot of the bud sites aren't getting light because of the blueberry
it's almost impossible from the pictures to understand which plant is which
only if you see the stems

i took pictures yesturday,i tried making them as clear as possible but you are about to see a live jungle :)
to be honest when they are young you can water them once every three days if you like
maybe even more
i myself have the growers illness of helping him out
i always feel like i'm neglecting my plants if i don't water them
luckily coco is very forgiving towards maniacs like myself ;)
if you want you can water them every day they shouldn't react any diffrently
which coco did you get?
i got the coco that comes in a compact block and you have to rinse it with water to break it apart
clean coco nothing else in the medium

I feed at the start no problem but I cut the strength down till they get going then give them the full dose.
