Newb question in feeding and nutrients?

Sorry for the question. I have spent countless hours reading on starting up and see a lot of different ways things are done. From my understanding I set up the dwc with the nutes and change them every 10 days then adjust for flower then run just water last week or two to flush system. But I have seen other people reference feeding daily? Can someone explain this? Thanks

First, do you have a PH pen and a PPM pen? If not, buy them. 2nd it depends on what nutes you have. Per example. General hydroponics, start with a 1/4 amount of nutes at the beginning and increase them as your plant grows. Your plant will drink and as it drinks add water and nutes depending on your ratios. Change water every 10ish days. Hydroguard protects against root rot. Definitely get those pens.

Already have both meters. Will be using Advanced Nutrients for this first grow.

I haven’t used their nutes, but from what I hear you’ll have to ignore ph levels. I’d imagine, follow the basic point of a portion of the manufacturers recommended amount and increase to par over time.

Some people feed, and then they wait a few days and feed with just water.. of course if you do this too heavily you will definitely get root rot.
