New to Vaps

So picked up a simple vap this week. I have been smoking my stuff at 200 deg. My question is how full do i want to will the vap hose and when do I know its done? I have been hitting it till the taste changes and the weed looks brown to black when im done.

Throw me some suggestions. Temps and when to know its done. Thanks all!

is that 200 c or f? i would imagine its c.. if so, can't help too much, but in f you will want your temps at around 380 or so.. not sure how that converts to c though..
and you'll be able to tell when its done hitting.. i use the bag style, and once the bag tastes simply like air instead of herb, i pack a new bowl..

eventually burnt popcorn flava from vape... bye bye
other variables: amt packed in, crystal bio ratio, humidity of herb, fine or coarse grind

You can VAP at over 180 F because thats when the tri's burn-up into the air. The reason you shouldn't boil "billy butter" is this same concept. IF ya boil it (212F) then the tri's go UP-in-smoke and your "butter" is garbage. With a vaporiser I go to 195F -
-200F and it works fine. After my "hits" are exhaling no more taste OR the taste changes to bland then I'm done.Keep smokin' and you'll find your best system too.

You need to study just a bit more...your temps are way off.
