new to this growing stuff >>Help w/info

I am new to this growing my own smot.. I had 2 plant that were about 2 1/2 ft tall and real leafy..I killed them by adding too much plant food...they were about 9wks old.
I am growing in a outdoor shed with a blackplastic framed growroom inside, the growroom is about 41/2 ft tall by 4 1/2 ft wide and deep. I have one shop style flouresent light hanging in there with two plant/aquarium bulbs in it they are each 40watts. I have a ceramic htr in there keeping the room temp around 75-80 degrees F.
I will be starting over with some seeds I just ordered online, do I have enough equpt. to get some get buds going? what are steps to how long I should have them under 24hr light before I start the on/off cycles plaese give me any info to help me successfully grow 2-3 plants and to get an ounce or two of bud from each.

Remember that marijuana is a weed, and will grow, without much help, naturally. Just do some reading, check out the GROWFAQ and some grow journals, and see what other people are doing. It's almost too simple. It sounds like you're ready. Good luck!
