I've been growing in Hydro deep water culture for the past two years. Issues like root rot, and having to change and clean my 5 gallon buckets are driving me crazy. . It's a big pain in the butt trying to change a 5 gallon bucket when it's anchored to a scrog . I'd like to go soil the next time.. I have plenty of nutrients by General Hydroponics Flora series. Can someone recommend a feeding schedule from Veg all the way to harvest using these nutrients? I had some concerns with may be getting less yield but clogging air Stones all the time and root rot is limiting my yield. I may be incorrect in assuming that soil is less maintenance

Fast growth like hydro ..minus the headaches of pumps failing and root rot and high temps in water. Coco and perlite drains ~ dries fast so you can feed more often and get faster growth..its like hydro minus the headaches...

Coco to me seems to be rhe best and simplest form of hydro. You basically treat like a over watered heavy nutes soil grow. Thats not a 100% accurate but sums it up. Soil is simple and give a good quality product. I use Happy Frog and Hydroponics Research nutes with some Botanicare suppliments. Awlays had good results. Looking into doing coco as a simple hydro grow.

Can I soak the coco and prepare the pots and medium in advance? I'm waiting on clones right now and wondering if the pH will change or if I will have to resoak. Can I prepare the medium now and transplant in 2 weeks?
