New to Outdoor Growing and need some advice

Hey every one im kinda new to this website and still have alot of things to get use to. Over the past few years i have grown weed indoors and have finally got tired of looking after it and the costs of the lights i run. Me and my buddy the other day were walking through a field and found a perfect clearing which is surrounded by trees and has perfect soil and everything already there. The only thing i need to do is bring water which cant be to hard.

I have never grown outdoors before but i have been reading and watching videos on the internet about growing. I live in Canada on the shore of Lake Superior. I plan on planting on june the 1st and have already started preparing the area ahead of time. As i said before im defiantly a noob when it comes to outdoor grows so i was wondering if more experienced outdoor growers could give me some tips, hints, and advice which can help me succeed on my first outdoor grow.

As of now i have:

My strain of seed
A good location with suitable soil
A grow partner (one i can defiantly trust)
and thats about it

I hope im not wasting my time or others time by posting this. Any advice or other info you guys/girls could tell me would be much appreciated.

In the next couple days il take some pics of my grow site if you wanna see it.

sounds like you've got it right so far... lol im starting my first outdoor grow too, just started germinating my seeds and hope to get them planted in mid may
