New to indoor light timer issues

I haven't been on here in awhile but I'm an avid outdoor grower and just started growing indoor this is my first indoor grow and I just switched the light cycle to 12/12 a few days ago and for three days in a row I've had some sort of issue with my timer but I think I have it figured out now will this effect my plants, main issues where lights coming on a few minutes to a half our early

Soo I woke up this morning sprayed my plants with cal mag before lights out and the timer still turned them off 10 mins early, I think that's just how its gonna be, I'm assuming 10 extra minutes of dark is ok, I been growing outside since I was a kid this indoor stuff is a whole different ball game lol

Going with slightly less than 12 hours of lights-on will be fine. In flowering, I will go with 11.5 hours lights-on and 12.5 hours lights-off and still get bud up the wazoo.
