I'm planning on ordering a hydroponic setup.. My question is I have 3 two week old plants already in potting soil... Is it possible to transfer them to my hydro setup i'm planning on getting or is that not a good idea. Thanks :)

you should have no problem transplanting them ...just be carefull with the roots and make darn sure you clean off all of the soil and throw in some 35% grade h2o2 at 1.7ml/l and you'll knock out all pathogens and oxygenate your root zone all at the same time.:peace:

Hey bkk... Bugs is right .... you should be able to trans over , i have done the same with older plants myself , you do not have to remove all soil to the root ball though if you use pots of media like perlite or rockwool.. you should try to leave it intact since the root mass has probably knitted in to it.. just try to place the root mass tward the top of the pot and do not top water these plants for the duration if possible... you will flood all the dirt to the rez. flood & drain only ...good luck
