so i know a little about growing, not much, helped my friends out here and there... So the other day my buddy gave me a few godfather OG seeds and i thought eh what the hell ill throw em in the dirt and see what happens. i threw one in a clay pot with some miracle grow soil (all i had at the time) and a couple into a "pot" i made out of a monkey bread tray i poked some holes in the bottom of. My patio gets decent sun throughout the whole day starting at 8 a.m. Basically just posting to ask for some tips, and things to do for a better grow. Keep in mind all ive got is a patio with some pots and ill obviously go get more things i.e. buckets, bigger pots, etc. I'll post some pics in a bit of what im workin with. Thanks yall, God bless!

Welcome to rollitup you came to the right place :) My only advice is stay away from MG soil, some of it has time-released nitrogen that will burn your plants after a few weeks. It also retains a ton of water. Use a rich black soil that has a lot of aeration, adding perlite to the mix never hurts.

heres a lil sum sum, lol, so your saying restart or can i move them to new soil once they've sprouted?

It depends on the type of MG soil you used. Their organic mix (should) be ok but their regular potting soil has lots of time-released nitrogen. I would let them sprout and grow for about a week or 2 then transplant into different soil. They will thank you for it and return the favor.

Roots organic is great stuff, I've never used it but my friend swears by their coco mix. How deep did you bury the seeds? I like to plant them 1/2 inch deep any deeper and they might struggle to find the light. Water daily keep the soil warm and moist until they sprout.

I wouldn't say water daily remember over watering is how most first time growers kill their plants. Water real good until you get a lil runoff then pic the pot up to judge the wait of it. This is the best way to tell when to water, the roots organic 707 is the shit i've used it before. If you can't get tht Black - N - Gold is also great to use, miracle grow is okay if your careful and real hands on. I've never herd of Godfather Og whts it's crosses? I'm subbed bro

Overwatering is the most common mistake people make, but during the germination process seeds like to be warm, moist and humid. You will see them sprout within 48/72 hours total, any longer and they might have been buried too deep, or weak genetics.
