New Startup from new member

Well new guy here. I have had some good luck off and on for the last 30's years but with a illness that some good stuff helps I am returning to my roots. (LOL) First off what I have built. 2 35 gallon totes with 6 baskets each. Totes are buried in the ground for temp control and surrounded by a 5x5x2 wooden shed with 150hps 150mh and 8 high output cfl's. I also have a 5 gallon bucket outside for level control and nutrient addition. I am using 2 aquarium powerheads along with 2 airpumps with stones for air. 2 recirc pumps, 1 that recircs the two totes and one that recircs out to the 5 gallon bucket. I am starting witht he gold series nutes. Security and oder are handles by ozone. Most of the testing and knowledge comes from my being a water and wastewater lab rat and operator. Comments on the system is helpful. Now onto the babies I have access to. sour desiel, jack herra, afgani, c-4, and purplepkush. I am thinking about a couple each. Ok guys all comments and of course if someone needs to use a gun and shoot me thats ok to.

th clear choice is Jack herrer I have a few grows under my belt and Jack was by far the sexyest. but a few of each would be fun to see the variation. my only problem with your set up is the amount of light to # of plants you want to grow. it sounds like you have an awsome hydro set up but you need more lighting. u can get a 1000 watt hps / mh refurbished lamp from insidesun ( do a google search ) for around 140-150 $ shipped to you. with that bad boy hanging bare bulb in the center with the cfls used around the individual side growths you will produce monsters. so yeah nice set up besides that

1000w inside a 10sq foot area WOW!. Well babies will not be here until end of month so I will get more light. Thanks.

just have to vent it well i have 2 400 wats and a T5 flouresent in a 4x4x6 grow tent with litteraly only box fan placed under the table their sitting on to get them closer to the light to change the air out and vents the heat with no problems or heat stress. and befor it gets asked the tent is always zipped up unless im watering or oogling and the fan still vents it perfectly

yea youd be better trading all those lights in for 1 600-1000 watt hps/mh switchable ballast -- just for space. but you can use the lights that you have youll just have less space.

I will look into the bigger lights. Ventilation and heat nota problem. Outside temps are in the 40's hear and ground temp is 65 around totes. 5 gallon outside bucket is warmed with blanket so as not to freeze. Yes this does give me a little fog in the mornning but not visable as I live out in the country.

then by all means get that 1000 watt
