New Light

I got my new grow area started. I built a 42" wide x 40" deep x 85" tall cab. I put my used $10 lamp with a new 400 watt (mh) 36000 lumens at 4000k.

Should I aim some of my 27 watt cfl's 6500k to help get some blue light or would it just be a waste?

No I do not believe it would be a waste at all. I think added blue light really helps plants a lot.
