new grower

New grower here. I'm pretty excited about it. So far things have actually been going fairly smooth, but I do occasionally have questions. Most of my concerns are around nutrients.

My tap water PPM was 800. I was told by the hydro guy that this is some of the worst water he's heard of, so I purchased a large filtration, RO device that brings it down to 10.

I was confused by the fact that my PPM's seem to be rising, making me think that the plants are absorbing nutients, but was please to realize from this site is mostly due to water evaporation. Sure enough, from my marker, almost 2 gallons of water has evaporated, which then makes total sense.

Is it wise to maintain a certain water level throughout, or is it ok to allow some evaporation?

For nutrients I'm using superthrive and Pure Blend Pro Grow. Should I be using other things?

I have a single 430watt bulb for 6 plants in an ebb and flow system.

I'm noticing a lot of algae, which I'm told is ok and expected, but it turns greener by the day.

My biggest noticeable problem right now is that I have two plants that are mature enough to beginning budding and I have 4 plants that are maybe only 3 - 4 weeks in. I'm wondering if there's any harm in keeping the mature plants in vegetative growth until the others catch up. I'm assuming at some point, the plant will stagnate on growth just due to light limitations and environment conditions, giving a buffer for the other plants to catch up, but in truth, I'm kind of fantasizing about something I really don't know that much about. Am I going to harm my mature plants? I realize nutrient levels are imbalanced because of this as well.

Thanks
Looking forward to improving my growing knowledge.

Quickly scanned...if you want a good line of nutrients go with Foxfarm, they have about 6 nuts you will need to buy throughout your grow, if you follow the chart you'll be fine. It'll run about $120 total, $20 per nut
