New grower please help me save my plants if possible

Hello all I am new to the forum and decided to finally sign up after reading all the posts I could for a month. I don't have experience growing mmj but I have gardened before as well as just completed reading 3 mj books from Ed rosenthal, Jorge Cervantes as well as 1 other that escapes me at the moment.

My first attempted grow was 7 or 8 bagseeds everything was going great they all germinated within 8 days, but there was some stretching due to inadequete lighting which I expected and actually wanted slightly this way later on in the plants life I could lst it easier and perhaps better. Well to make this long story a bit shorter there was mishap involving the air conditioner and front door creating a vaccum suction in the hallway. When the door was open it pulled the plants off the window seal onto the floor. I washed out all the pots resoiled and added perlite put them back because they still looked decent but then right as I put them up on the window seal the door opened again . So I threw them away after that because the liquid root booster and shock deterent didnt do crap but help kill them faster.

Fast forward 3 weeks and I am on my second attempt I now have 2 125 watt cfls and a 600 watt hps(the 600 watt hps I dont think I will use until the plants are big enough to leave from closet to the room floor. I planted about 12 bagseed 1 white widow x big bud(fem) 1 super diesel(fem) 1 superbud(fem) 1 cindy 99xline(fem) and then the free seeds were sleestack X skunk(reg) Royal queen fruit spirit (fem)

The bagseed germinated first and Initially I didnt think any of the bought seeds would germinate but they all eventually did and were looking good. I planted them a tad to far so I had to carefully loosen and take out about 1/4 inch of the soil (Fox farms ocean) The day after I brought them to the surfacethey were looking great. All of them seemed they would survive. The subsequent days the condition on most of them worsened and some of them shriveled to commical levels although they are still green except 1 which never fully burst from the seed and is yellow(burnt?) I want to know if I can save them. I have taken pictures to place on here for the communities examination. I would extremly appreciate any input as these seeds were expensive. I probably shouldnt of dug in the soil to retrieve the plants but I know the seeds have about 2 days of stored energy to reach the surface and if I didnt act they would of all suffocated under the dirt.

My thoughts on what could be the problem

Burn from the rooting coumpound

burn from the cfls

shock from removing the little seedlings from under the dirt to replant them above the dirt

Possibly not planting the taproot far enouugh into the soil

foxfarm soil to strong for seedlings

Please save my plants :(

are you ph testing your water? when using fox farm you should ph treat your water and ONLY water at first to 6.0. ive grown in the same soil many times without fail =/ what is your room temp with the negative vaccum?

Well the bottle is root grow plant starter. Its to help form strong roots. The first batch of plants was the mishap in the vacuumed room. I since moved them to a dedicated area further back in the building so it wont happen again.

i would say flush it and go without the root compound. should be better in no time. after you flush make sure to wait til the soil is completely dry before watering again. you should be fine =)

oh and make sure you PH treat your water to 6.0! flush water included, always always always ph treat your water in every single stage

Not above the dirt. The stem and leaves the roots are obviously in the dirt. They wouldnt of had the energy to reach the surface. Thank you for the advice I will see if it works. Thanks

I used some hoffmans blue magic aluminum sulfate. We will see how that works. Its a solid but it said to add to water so I did. I figured you were supposed to mix into the medium but I never did just bought it in case. Im just so anxious and dedicated to see some positive results.

You can't start seeds in ffof I would start new seeds in some sunshine mix 4 is how I do for the first 2 weeks then I'll use ffof with advance nutes!

Oh really? ok. Should my seeds be in miracle grow and perlite mix. That is my only other option at the moment. I dont have rockwool cubes or vermeculite.

If I tansfer them to the miracle grow since they are so scrawny will they survive? Is it worth doing even at this point or would it be a waste of time and limited resources? Also my water supply is city water filtered through a brita pitcher.

ok what about moving the plants to the miracle grow?
You can't keep referring to them as plants.. they are seedlings at this point, and you should bear that in mind! They are babies... sensitive to everything.. the world is new to them, and you wand to integrate them slowely and gently... that means.. do not disturb the little bit of structure they have in the soil... do not go crazy with the mini-flush you want to do, and like I said take it slow and be gentle. When the plant is ready to be fed she will tell you believe me... all she wants to do is grow for you.. so rinse out that soil with no more than 2 cups of water and let it dry out completely before you even think about getting water near it again. Good luck to you.

Dude, DO NOT LISTEN TO THE GUY TELLING YOU ABOUT PH. Don't worry about your PH on your first grow. As a matter of fact I would shelf Jorge Cervantes and whatever "marijuana grow book' you have. Think back to biology and science class in elementary and junior high school. Think about the grass on your lawn or flowers in a pot. Growing marijuana is so much more simple than you are making it out to be. Fox farm soil is fine to use. DO NOT ADD ANY SPECIAL ROOT SOLUTION or anything else. Put the seed two inces in the dirt and cover it. Add a little bit of water. Maker sure you have a fan oscillating on the pots at all times. Try and keep your room temperature below 85. Your lighting is fine. It sounds to me like you just need to have some air circulation and you have some heat problems. GROWING IS SIMPLE. when you have a couple grows under you belt then start thinking about PH and read up about what Jorge Cervantes says. KEEP IT SIMPLE. TAP WATER WILL GROW BOMB WEED. DO not over fertilize your plants. As a matter of fact you can grow bomb weed with fox farm and NO fertilizer. JUST ADD WATER. Don't listen to anyones bullshit about PH. Keep things simple. Plants need air moving on them, they need light, they need water, they need a decent soil (like fox farm) and the LOVE cooler temperature between 65 and 85 degrees. Also, you need to mimic DAY and NIGHT temps i.e. Hotter in the day and cooler at night. See that there is a 10-15 degree differential between night and day.
