Hello guys,
I am a new grower. Doing my first set up/grow. See major details:
1. Tent - Growing in a Secret Jardin, which was advertised as 16'x8' while in reality it is about 5 inches less then 16' or 8'.
2. Got 3 x SunSystem LEC 630w 3100k lights (air cooled ones) and plan on getting one more of the same light. Lights are 220v.
3. Plan on growing area is 16'x4'
4. Cloth pots and soil for the grow media.
5. I plan on growing Blue Dream
Questions:
1. Tent structure seems very flimsy and I doubt it can take the weight of all 4 lights. I was thinking of using 2"x2" planks from Home Depot to support the structure. What do people use to support heavy lighting in this flimsy tent?
2. Question, yesterday I was trying to hook up first light. It is hooked up to a "Spartan Series 4 Light Controller", which says that it can use "universal outlets, allow use of 110v or 240v" Well, l plugged it into the regular 110 wall plug and Light is not turning on . Does it really need 220v to work, even though it goes through the controller?
I have 220 wall plug, however, it is the dryer kind of type and the Spartan Controller has a regular 110 looking like plug.
