Hello, this is a new grow setup which started today. any comments will be appreciated. system: hydro with sprinklers, growing 8 plants. nutrients: ghe total grow/total blum/bio roots growing media: Rockwell ------1st week-------- the seeds(12) were germinated in distilled water with 003ppm and 2 drops of bio roots. they were placed in closed dark environment. after 1 week 8 seeds sprouted and germinated in the glass. ------2nd week starting today--------- starting with 25 litter water @ 003 ppm (RO water), added 1/4 strength nutrients. now the ppm is 120 and p.h is constantly on 5.7 (adjusting it every day with ghe ph down/ph buffer) now i have planted them into the system. the sprinklers work 1 time a day for 15 minutes. cubes are saturated with water. the room temperature is 30C(85F) and humidity stands on 85%. ( i will install a fan tomorrow hopefully the temp will drop and humidity as well) the lights are CF 2*24W @ 30 CM (10") hight ; tomorrow the lights will be dropped to 10 CM (4") questions: 1. is the ppm too low for starting?

Seedlings should be around 50-150 PPM
Unrooted clones to be around 100-350 PPM
small plants to be around 400-800 PPM
large plants to be around 900-1800 PPM
Last week of flowering use plain water.

I BURNED MY PLANTS A BIT IN THIS FIRST GROW SO AFTER EXTENSIVE RESEARCH IN MY QUEST FOR THE RIGHT PPM, THIS PROVED TO BE MOST ACCURATE AND WIDELY ACCEPTED.

i grow in soil, but dont use lots of nutes on a small plant, build them up slowley.
like the above guy said blinkycush

Yeah I now know, I was just stating i learned the hard way but recovered my grow from nute burn following the ppm above. shpapy, 120 should be fine for your current stage. GL

hello,

new updates. just got back from work and new surprise after 45 hours a new baby is born!!!
wooohoo (check the pics)

minor question: like i sayd 20L of nutrient... the ph every day goes back to 7.0, before every watering i need to re-adjust it... is there a better way? i.e. more times between adjusting ? any insight will help.
thanks.
