Ok just want to check I'm not missing anything. I have the grow tent, I have 2x 200w 6400k cfls with another 200w 2700k bulb on the way, 4x68w 2700k cfl. 6x 2gallon pots. 2 interior fans, that are not really very powerful. 1 6" vent fan. Happy frog potting soil. Light timer.

Oh and lowryder, afgan kush, lemonskunk on the way. All auto flowers. The only thing I'missing is a watering can and fertilizers.

I should be getting 6700 lumens per sqf. And I might throw in a few 40w for under canopy lighting.

Sound good?

will want a temp/humidity meter and a pH meter
theres cheap digital meters that record the min/max temp/humidity levels for each day, handy to have.
for the pH the liquid test drops kits do the job ok and cost about $5-10, or a digi meter from about $20. i like the drops since they dont break but not too accurate if the nutes color the water tho.
have read that the happyfrog soil can be fairly rich with a chance of burning seedlings so you might want to water it down with some cheap potting soil or something for starting off with.

So I got a tem/humidity meter. It a wireless one what is nice as I don't want to go to the shed every time. And gave it a test run. Although I have 2 fan and a top mounted exaust; it was 96 in there before I turned the lights off. So i think I'm going to need a few more intakes and a powerfull exaust. Don't know if I can put another 200w cfl in there.

Just set up all your fans for exhaust. Doing this means you create negative pressure in your tent, which means air will get sucked in just as fast as it is being blown out. You can also cool your place down a a lot fast by getting the hot air replaced faster. Just leave some pipes or something for the air to get sucked in through at the bottom of the tent.

I had the same problem with my room man. I have a grip of cfls and a smaller sized room too, and 2 fat inline fans. I tried every combo with these fans, and the best I ever got my room to was 82. Clfs turn your room into an ez bake oven lol. You will probably need an ac unit with that much light because you cant just suck all the heat out nice and quick like a cool tube for HIDs. I got a window ac from craigslist for 30 bucks and ducted air out of my growroom into the ac and then back into the grow. that way the ac unit isnt inside the room wasting space but still regulates the room temp. It definitely worked for me, maybe if all else fails give it a shot, but good luck! :joint:
