new space is 6' x 7' and 7 ' high. north wall is 7' and is concrete, west wall is 6' and is concrete. south wall is stud and so is the east wall. The east wall has 4' entrance attached to concrete and a 2' stud wall with electrical attached to south stud wall. also have electrical in west wall. I would like to enclose seeding/cloning, vegging, flowering. I can build almost anything, just need help with arranging everything. I have 2 400w hps and various flourescent in varios sizes. I am not opposed to purchasing specific sizes to fit areas if I do not already have. Venting is in the west wall which leads to crawl space in old barn. I will be installing an exhaust fan there. I am researching cfls and would prefer to be as green as possible, while as hidden as possible. I grow indoor to put outdoor.:???::?:

cfl are way too small for an area this size. you would need 100 of them.
T5 flouros would do ok but since you have the 2 400 watt HPS i would use those in a cool tube to help control heat.
i assume since you say you grow indoors to move outdoors you are veg only ?.
this being the case your flouros T8 or T5 would also work if you are needing to conserve electricity. i just think the 2 400 watt HPS will get you a much better head start on your grow.
as for deviding the room ... since you are veg only if i am reading you correctly . you wont need to devide the room at all just pop your clones / seeds into pots and away you go

I do actually want to divide. I was just going to add that I plan to grow from seed various types for various uses over the years. I do not want to wast my perfect limited spaced out space and just any plant. I want to experiment and save the best that are cut back to about a 6" stem which is usually about 1/2" diameter at this point. I then reveg them on 18/6 til they are at 24", the best go into 12/12 and I continue to nuture the others to 4' mark and then out they go. stems are about 1" thick and they look like little trees in 1 gallon pots. In this process I take clones to get new plants going and so on and so forth. Ultimately my goal is to have perfect moms of various varieties. It's my hobby and stress release. I plan to try 2-3 new varieties a year. I am using organic soil mixture.
