New grow space..input needed.

Hello everyone! I’ve always grown in tents. 4x8s in particular. But I bought a house last month and I have a grow room that is 12x13. The room is in a clean, partly finished basement. It’s a blank canvas. I keep rebuilding the space in my head so I finally decided to ask for some input. What would you do? I already had the electrical done, running to 2 side walls and the ceiling. My RO system and watering containers are both set up already and right outside the room. I’m in a state where I’m allowed 6 plants in each stage. I shoot for a fairly large yield grow considering my plant limit. I use coco and HLG600s for flower and 300bs for veg. I still own 1 4x8 tent and I’m thinking I’ll still use it for veg. So given the small amount of info I’ve provided, how would you set up the room? Curious and excited to see if you envision something new that I didn’t think of. Thanks friends!

12x13 room give yourself some workspace so a 8x10 canopy will need 2 or 3 hlg 600's, 2 plants per light, 6 plants

I am in an identical situation and would love to see any feedback others offer and to see the outcome of your space. My basement is also my office, so I am also constantly pacing around thinking up design ideas and looking up different things to consider. The only thing separating my work area from my grow area is some shoddily hung panda film held together by duct tape, dreams and some staples.

IMO, the first thing you need to decide is if you want a sealed room or use the basement for fresh air and exhaust either back into the basement or outside. I personally use my basement as a lung room because the temp/RH is pretty stable and I can use a small space heater and small humidifier if necessary during veg in my tent. However, I only really use that during the very early stages of growth. I only run my DEhumidifier late in veg and all through flower. I cut an exhaust hole in the side of my house and have my inline fan exhausting outside because when I was dumping that air back into the basement, I struggled to keep RH below 60 and my DEhumidifier ran constantly.

The plus side of doing this versus a sealed room is that I'd still need all this stuff running, but I'd also need an air conditioner, possibly CO2 amendments AND a high heat shut off. Plus, I was able to move my plants into this so-called room while it's still in the pre-design phase. Being a new grower, I am able to experiment with the layout which works in my favor because I have to do something in order to learn it. I am not good, like at fucking all, at just thinking through projects.
