New Grow Setup Input Wanted

My new grow room tent just got here! It's 2'7"D X 4'11" W x 6'7" Tall. Since I can have overheating issues in my grow area do you guys think that I should run a t5 setup?

Right now, I have 12 seedlings germing at 4 days in a 7" humidome in a Rapid Rooter Mat (11 bagbeans, 1 Blue Satellite x Killer Queen bean). 5 cracked (including the BSxKQ), and have begun sprouting leaves. I have them germing under 2 x 24W t5HO cool tubes right now. I will be transferring them to a Rainforest 66 for more growth, and when they get a few nodes under their belts going to tranfer to individual DWC individual bucket system like the Stealth Hydro Bucketeer system or a bubbleponic system, cycling clones (probably White Widow or White Rhino from a friend) back into the Rainforest to grow both simultaneously.

Since the rainforest is 24" wide, and my tent is 4'11" wide, I can squeeze a fair amount more into my growing area I want to run both systems side by side for comparison and use this first grow to fine tune some quirks. The second grow I will be using all of the same strain of clones and run the full experimental comparison after honing the lighting and nute quirks from the first grow.

Lighting... Anyone have some suggestions on what kind of lighting setup I should run with on the t5's? One thing that I am thinking of doing with this grow is run a 45-90W Fiber Optic SCROG to increase flowering light penetration where the t5 HO's might not reach.

Any suggestions on the lighting, or the growing system setup would be appreciated. I want to use this tent purely for the purposes of experimentation to increase the quality of future grows for people.

Short of the lighting and setup experiments (also a vertical grow design is on the drawing board for an upcoming grow), with the optimal setup conditions, what do you think the max yield that I could pull out of an area like that (with any set up/lighting combination). This link is to the grow tent, Grow Lab 80L that came today.

Any thoughts, comments, direction, etc... would be much appreciated

I Googled "fiber optic scrog" and only came back with results to my own post for the top listing...

I guess that deserves a smoke in itself!bongsmilie

No comments, suggestions, or opinions on the room/setup/ etc??? I've read through hundreds of threads, thousands of posts and even got a few papercuts along the way.

400-600 watt HPS with a nice/easy to vent reflector.
vent it with a cheap DIY inline fan setup, veg clones with your t5 throw them into flower.

make sure your bulb can be mounted at any angle.

I guess that eventually, I'll be running around 400W+ anyway, so power consumption will roughly be about the same.

If I run a 90W Fiber Optic SCROG, then penetration will not be as much of an issue either, so would t5's flower for me as well? I know HPS is better, but I'm not convinced that enough tweaking has been done through grows to fully reap the benefits of a t5 in all that I have been reading. The guy down at the hydro store told me that he has a lot of friends that have been switching to t'5s from HPS...
