New Grow - need assistance - Northern Alabama

Hey everyone.. new to the site, but looks VERY promising and informative.

I have AK-48, Kaya Gold and Master Kush coming in from Nirvana. They recommended that for beginners/easy growth. I plan to germ maybe 10, and see how many females I come up with, then clone some...

Now I also plan to wait til I am able to clone these as soon as poss. So I need to know when this can be done.

Still dont know which way to germ. I have read mAny WAYS, AND STILL confused on which may be better/easier.

After Germination, what is the best way to raise these inside until strong enough, etc.. to move outdoors in the woods.

There is nobody around the wooded area, so I am not concerned about stealth, etc... got about 10 acres.
Some will be on a slight hill, some will not. dirt seems to be decent, but know I will need GOOD soil, etc.. for better growth.

What should I plan to do, and at what time frame? such as watering, do I need to use nutes, etc...?

I just want to try to get this right.. or at least close.. lol

better get moving. i asume the weather is fairly nice down there right now. if your growing outdoors this season you will not have time to pick mothers and clone them. my advice would be to germ them using the simple paper towel method using plain water. i just for the very first time used a slightly differant method given to me by dr.greenthumb-his method is put seeds in a glass of water for 4-8 hours, them move to paper towels soaked with water that has a 1/8-1/4 fert solution mixed in. it worked fine like this. when they have sprouted plant when the root is 1/4 inch or less straight into your soil-plenty moistened. easy was to raise them is under t-5 or t-8 floros a mix of warms and cool bulbs untill they are at least 6".use a fan to blow on them to strenghten the stems. leave under 24 hours light. pick up some grow ferts nigh-N for vegetating and bloom fets high-P for flowering . this is very basic plans so keep reading up on here everyone has already asked anything you can think of if you look around. as far as the clones go plant all your seeds now. next year get an earlier start and worry about the clones. that would be my advice.

Okay, thanks for the advice... As for the cloning. I wanted to clone a few for some learning on them, etc... I use to own an aquarium shop, and have all types of flour lights, MH lights, PC lights you name it... So I was gonna try to experiment on indoor as well. So I am gonna need some clones.

I just dont know how old the plant needs to be before you try to cut clones off of it. any ideas?

you can cut clones long before you even know the sex of the plant. pretty much as soon as there is young shoots coming of the main branch, anything over 2" will work a little bigger is better. you could clone your plant from the main stem if you wanted to in two weeks of growth. i wouldnt advise it,but im just trying to say you can cut clones anytime. the best way would be to wait at least a few weeks-month, for it to get bushy and healthy enough. if you dont know the sex of the plant by the time you take clones throw the clones under 12/12 once they have rooted they will show their sex the clone doner will be the same.

Cool... Well, I have a couple bag seeds, I was working with to see if I can do some of this before my GOOD seeds get here. Seems that I germinated 2 bag seeds. I will put them in soil today. See what happens...
