hello fellow growers i want to purchase a 600 watt digital galaxy ballast with a coolsun reflector with a 6inch ac fitting,so i call the hydro shop i`am going to order from and ask them will this ballast run both mh,and hps bulbs he replies yes and then i asked do they make a 600 watt mh bulb he replies no that there is a 600 watt conversion bulb i can buy.. so i get off the phone and start to think why would they make a 600 watt ballast that runs both mh and hps bulbs but not make a 600 watt mh bulb.but anyway can i run a 400 watt mh bulb in this ballast or do in need to buy the conversion bulb and if anyone can tell me what are the best bulbs for this type of digital ballast and reflector(i realy hope i can use a 400 watt mh in with this ballast because the store doesnt sell the 600 watt conversion bulb they only have a 400 watt and a 1000 watt conversion bulb and the store is close to where i live dont realy want the extra paper trail from another hydro store if you know what i mean.thanks for all your help and happy growing) p.s. i did a search on this topic from this site and couldnt find the type of answers i was looking for so sorry if this has been asked before.
