I have a stupid question.
how tenacious is the pollen on the males.
could an area be sealed/sectioned off in a bloom area w/ panda and a tarp zipper to flower males?
or will the females become pollinated through the zipper or whatever.
?

GrowTech

stays relevant.
It's not going to go through the zipper unless there is some serious vacuum in the area... Of course the pollen could easily get on your hands and clothing and make it's way onto the female flowers.

i was just going to add that its assuming no one would ever go from the male room to the female room w/ out changing or something.

he had all his females go to seed they were like third generation and had no pollen sacks so he took a walk and found thos exploded male plants and concluded that the wind carried it down the street and right into his intake vent (which is in line of sight from where they were) but thats where i got my seeds lol

how have others approaches this problem?
getting pollen from the males that is
can they just be set by a window untill they bloom??
that would be much easier than additions to the space an shite.

To sex my plants I take some panda film. . . the 6mil stuff that is black on one side and white on the other or a piece of thick, black, garbage bag and rubber band it around just one branch/node cluster giving it a 12/12 light cycle while the rest of the plant gets a 18/6. This causes the plant to start flowering on just that one branch, you can harvest some pollen and store it in a container in your fridge and then use a paint brush to brush it on one of your female flowers when you think it's ready. This way you don't have to pollinate the entire female just one or two flowers. It's a good method to find males early on too so you dont waste time and nutrients on them.
