White Skunk & Diesel Ryder with CFLs

So I started germinating some White skunk fems and Diesel ryder autos today. I can't wait to get them into the new setup!

Im growing 9 diesel ryders in pots..

.. and I bought an aerogarden just for shits to see how it does when complimented with more light.--

there will be 1 diesel ryder and 5 White Skunk fems in the AG..

Additional lighting:

6-120w cfls (cool)
2- 4' t5 (cool)
2-200w full spectrum daylight bulbs....Hanging from above in the pic.

still waiting on the two big bulbs.

what do you guys think??

LOL funny you say that....cause I did haha. Probly a dumb move on my part, and I don't plan on doing it again. A lot of people use ProMix and Fox Farms Ocean Forest. Right now I am using FFOF, and just the other day I found a place 45 mins from my house that carries Promix. When my FF is all gone, I'll be switchin to ProMix cause it'll be so much easier for me to get. :blsmoke:

Lowes and depot soilds are fine ..if mixed with some goodies! I use miracle grow moisture controll with ferts but ... I use 1 bucket of that 1/2 bucket sand 1/2 bucket perlite splash of vermiculite and lime...i will soon be adding alaskan fish emulshun home depot gets it ! You can use this as a base and perfect your own mix:) the probs people have with mg soils and nute burn can be avoided by mixing well and introducing nutes slow to see if the plants need it! I think at the "mg factory" a clump of dangerous ferts could get plopped in a bag without being quality controlled so if you used it straight out of the bag you could run into a problem..

So Lowes and Home Depot both carry it in your area? If so they carry it expecting people to buy it, so don't give them a reason just buy it. Also Orchids often grow in a different type of soil then normal plants, my last one was in almost pure moss. If you mean they only sell soils and none are ones you prefer then as mentioned above the ones from those stores will be fine, just mix them with other additives. (I used MG moisture control, mixed with about 15% perlite, 3% lime, 20% Coco Fiber and a mushroom compost and it worked very well)

Yeah, check out HD or Lowes. Even walmart might carry Promix. Around me, during the winter nobody had anything except Miracle Grow, but now with spring coming around the corner...everybody will be stocking up again.

Orchid soil is no good for weed! They have a very specific diet(orchids) and the orchid specific soils are wierd!! Just read up in the faq youll find all the info in the world about soil/soilless mixes!

alright, a little update:

I got some soil from lowes.. organic choice and mixed it with some perlite for airation.

all the diesel ryder seeds cracked and went into pots last night. I got too impatient waiting for all the skunk to crack so I put them right in the AG (most were cracked though).

now I'm just waiting until I see some plant life..

Are you talking about 100w equivalent cfls?
yea, I have 9.. they all are. 1600 lumens per (26w)=100w.....6500k daylight.
Theres one 150w equiv.
And two 4' t5s.
+AG.

But i do have those 200w grow bulbs arriving soon. hopefully by the day they sprout.

I have a question about the 200w bulbs that I posted on the first page..

I have these two socket/shades that i was able to use the 300w equivs in..

im wondering if these will be sufficient for the bulbs Im getting?? Do i NEEED to get a special one, or ballast?

Its not clear on the product page.
