New - 3 week old Plant... (PICS) - ADVICE please?

This is a 3 week old plant, I got the seed from a friend, it was germinated and potted on a Soil mix (compost, fert soil, perlite, sand, etc.) + Peat moss...

I recently transplanted to a 10" pot, the QUESTION is (as I was adviced to do) should I change light cycle to 12/12 (today is first day trasnplant) so it shows SEX and avoid loosing time?

ALSO, how good is it to feed the plant with SEAWEED EXTRACT?? any advice?? (regularly feeding with commercial nutes [schultz, miracle grow] )...

looks like you have some burn on the lower leaves . what kind of light are you using? as far as the nutes go you have to be careful with those they can kill
:confused:your plant quick if you are not careful. the light should be far enough away that it doesnt dry and burn your plant.
p.s get a fan.

i would let it veg for another 2 weeks are so, then change it to 12/12, by the chance you do have a female you dont want to start flowering her when she is that young. Also seaweed is good it just depends on the form of it (liquid, solid) you would want to dilute the seaweed solution with water. But if you are using a full does of commercial nutes just stick with that.

Good luck.

agree. lights look a bit to close and lower leaves do look burnt.

Yeah! that lower leaf burn was kinda strange, when it was potted I used no nutes for 2.5wks and the lower leafs got that dark coloring on the top of the leaf, while keeping GREEN on the bottom!?? so after I fed her nutes I haven't seen further damage, new leafs look healthy..

2 CFLs @ 23w ea. they are 3-4in. away from the leafs, thats why I dont think of it as light burn... i dont know...

Fan is in place, 24/7, running on low (high, too strong.)

Thanks !!

YES thanks! I though it was too young as well... keeping her in 18/6...

Seaweed would be liquid form, but thinking about it...
