Need suggestions on What soil and fertilizer to use

So i plan to grow next year and i am very unsure of what soil and fertilizer to use, and for the soil i mean like the soil you buy in bags at lowes or the home depot (etc. miracle grow), and by fertilizer i mean plant food. I apologize in advance, because i am a complete noob at this, and i am growing in the woods, IN ground, not in a pot. The reason i plan to buy soil is because the place i plan to grow doesnt have the best soil. Any feedback will help, thank you! :joint:

You should use pro-mix soil. They sell it at Menards and it is good enough. For veg, that is before the plant starts budding, use fish emulsion and epson salt for your nutrients. You want high nitrogen during vegetation period. Once the plant starts budding, add bone meal to your soil for phosphorous and add Dr. Earth bud and bloom booster to the soil for phosphorous, potassium, and other micronutrients.

There are a million combinations that will work, but this one is pretty easy and cheap.

yeah i second the promix, get a compressed bale of promix for like 25-30 bucks thats like 50 gallons once its opened up, and its fairly light and easy to carry for getting into the forest. Id just add basic things into the promix right from the begining, bone meal, bat guano, worm castings, maybe some compost, definately some dolomite lime. and add some liquid ferts for veg and bloom whenever u can.
