Need some quick advice

Hello.

I'm growing indoors on a few clones. 3 or 4 4-inch plants In a 3x3x3 box to start out. During my veg state, I know I should have a 2:1 ratio of blue to red lighting. But what I don't know is the wattage of bulbs I should get. I know more is better, but I wouldn't want to scorch my MJ. I was thinking 60w maybe? 120w?

So two 60w blue cfl bulbs with one 60w red cfl bulb is my initial plan.

Also, LED would save me money and reduce sound/fire risk. How would an LED play into the situation as far as wattage ratio?

What do you guys suggest?

I suggest you go buy a 250 or 400 or 600 or a 1000 watt light. 60 w is not going to do shit.

do not grow with led panels... for god's sake.. they work.. for the first few weeks and then they don't supply enough light. Go with minimum CFL's.. they are cheaper than LED and will provide results..

If you really want LED I have 6 panels at 90 watts per panel I'll sell you.. used for 1 month.

Try using a couple T-5 flourescents. I use 2, 24 inch single tube fixtures, relatively cheap.
60 watts ain't gonna do it. I've seen several CFL's used though, even cheaper!
Main thing is... the more light (lumens) they get the less they stretch.
