Need some help with a 5X10 Grow room.

I have a 5x10 x 7 foot high grow room.

Ventilation is not going to be much of a problem... It is basically going to be an outdoor shed after its built...

Would a 1000w hps be too big for this room?

The plan is to setup a perpetual harvest clone/mother plant area, Veg and flower rooms.

Is this too small?

I want to squeeze as much as i possibly can into this room... With a pretty good sized budget..

I've grown indoor and outdoor for several years... but all of my indoor grows have been substantially smaller closet type stealth grows.... stealth is not a concern in this grow

How would this grow space best be used? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

use a two 1000 watt hids one for the clones mothers and veg and the other for flowering space depends on how many plants are gonna be in the room

I would do:

4X4 Flower area - 1000 watt HPS
4X4 Veg area - 1000 watt MH

2X4 mother area - H/O Flouro's
ABOVE mother area, do the clone set up. 12"X4 feet, on a shelf - Use an H/O Flouro

Thats how I would do it, if you could budget the amount for the lighting.

1000W for 4x4? .... great results with 400W for that sized area.

I think people tend to allow too much space for clones and mothers thus making the flowering area smaller. I would go with a large cabinet for clones and moms and use the rest for flowering. Moms and clones can be maintained with flouros and then the 1000 watter for the flowering area. Just make sure the cabinet is light tight.
