I have been growing for a couple years and I finally feel confident enough to step everything up to a larger system, now that I've encountered most of the problems.
My grow room is 8 ft. by 12 ft. and 8 ft. high. This room will be completely sealed with a simple inlet for fresh air. Exhaust will be via an 8" vortex fan attached to a carbon filter. I was planning on having the lights exhaust completely separate. That is, one inlet, with air being drawn by a separate vortex fan, blown through the lights and out a separate outlet. This light cooling system would run all the time and exhaust fan will turn on only when need be to control temp/humidity and to exchange fresh air.
Any feedback as to whether or not I should separate the exhaust of the room and the exhaust of the lights? I have never done this before, but I think it would allow me to better saturate the room with co2 while still keeping the temps from getting too high.
I will be using six digital 600 watt lights over two 3x6 Ebb n Flo tables. One reservoir with two pumps.
CO2 will be delivered using a CO2 tank and regulator on a timer, connected to a CO2/humidity/temperature controller (next time I will get the nice CO2 controllers and sensors but for now I will be using math to figure out how much CO2 to release.
Nutrients will be the complete Advanced Nutrients line (bit pricey but past results have proven its worth it).
