Hey all, first off. I love this forum. Its so full of info. I havent really contributed too much so far cause my operation has been down and out and I have been gone away, I promise to as soon as I gte up and running again, Anyways. My question involves hydro and electricity set up for a room that I will be putting 3 1000w HPS COOL BLOW THROUGH shades over 3 4x4 Ebb and Flow tables and a 300 GAL. Res. My question is this, I have assembled a garage close to my house which is a rural area. I do have some hydro out there now but it just a wire running together on another circuit with some of my house plugs and lights and etc...This power will be sufficiant and I plan on using it for fans, heaters, pumps, etc.. However I need to know how to hook up hydro output to accept the 3 1000watt BALLASTS. They are switchable 120-240v. I would prefer to run them on the 240 for the lowest AMP draw. I have 60 amp service coming into my house, it comes into a 60watt FUSE PANAL, not breakers. I have gone through my panal and laballed all existing wires and there purpuses. I think it would work if I use the washer and dryer fuse. I think if I run the room at night and laundry during the day lol. HAs anyone have any insight AT ALL on this. It would be of so much help and greatly apprciated. Any help on using fuse panals instead of breakers to obtain 240volts, wire size to run out to the garage with the only intention for it to be the BALLASTS> Thank you so much for anything, it will help.
