i think i m going t obuy a mirror for this adventure then.
so youre camp shaking it dry and thats it it seems, why not i can try that first of course.
i read the outcome using dry ice is quite high and its quick, so thats why i thought its a aoption, i can get dry ice easily.
Dry sift gives you a decent returns with better quality vs dry ice but by all means try both for yourself see what you prefer to smoke on most of that extra weight will be plant matter/contaminants i bet tho and its just a matter of knowing your hash its what i first smoked when i began toking it was pretty much all we got here besides the odd bit of import bud before home growing and hybrids got more popular so it will always hold a special place in my heart ig and if your gonna do it might as well do it right way i see it bud

I'd recommend going the drysift route, especially if you're used to smoking import hash, bubble hash is way too floral and the production is much more complicated than drysifting.

You can very cheap and easily make a sifting device:

- buy 2x +10L food grade plastic buckets with a good tight lid and a piece of 120 µ mesh
- cut the bottom off of one bucket
- tightly duct tape the mesh screen to the bottomless bucket
- put the meshed bucket in the other bucket
- fill up to 1/3 of the bucket with frozen weed
- put the lid on
- shake for 30-60 seconds
- take the meshed bucket out and see all the trichs collected at the bottom of the bucket
- re-freeze and repeat to make 2nd, 3rd, 4th etc. sifts

Afterwards you can use other micron mesh sizes to further refine and make different qualities.

Cure in a glass jar like you would cure flower, it's not nearly as important as with flower but it makes a better product.

I usually mix my sift with 5-10% 2nd press rosin and knead for half an hour, this recipe is getting pretty popular around here :)

yes, mostly import hash in my life, from good to bad,, mostly bad maroc, but also often mediocre stuff, called "yellow" or pollem.
best was NL hash, skuff, made from indoor skunk flowers it seems, i think i aim for some like this.
i never liked pure rosin.

no water, seems to be clear as so many say.
i may still try the dry ice, as my freezer is quite small and i would need to buy a new one for this purpose.
i ordered a bucket bag mesh set, will see how that work, its a good start for sure, 120 is included.
some modified buckets are a good idea probably, better then the mirror to avoid the spray, will see, it should become something.

Then dry sift is the only way minus Indian charas or cream thats how every bit of import hash u will have smoked woulda been made good or bad you from the uk like me or from europe l guessing bud?

most of the local import hash is comming over a haven from prob maroco and else.
i can imagine your supply in uk is/was similar.

Yeah until a certain point the good imports rarely make it to Scotland as often as when i was younger but you do get the odd bit but for the most part bud took over tho vs hash its more folk of a certain age and up that be into that these days why you gotta make your own tbh

quality of import hash varies a lot from "euro plate", i wouldnt smoke, to some soft well processed pollem which i always buy when avaiable.
later is a modern form of marocan hash, it smells a bit like skunk.
probably a similar situation, the good hash is seldon.
buds are prefered here also.
i am thinking of doing hash to reduce the amount and comply laws.
its a nice adventure too an it sounds i might like the endresult.

go with bubble hash, youll never want to smoke import hash again, even better if your growing just clip all the buds into freezer bags while there still alive toss them in the freezer and do fresh frozen bubble hash. save yourself a step and not have to dry or cure flower
