Need of help with Hydroponic grow. Expert support needed.

It's only Friday, just give it some time and dont keep toes rapid rooters too moist and don't give any nutrients til it grows a lil. Let nature take its course and have patients. Good luck happy growing. Read up on hydroponics using rock wool or whatever medium your using. And less is better than more

well, it's saturday the 11th. I planted my first seed on wednesday the 1st of may. How long does it typically take for a seed to sprout?

How is the water supplied? Drip,aero,Dwc,just how are they getting the water?

it can take up to two weeks so don't touch it at all. Keep medium wet during this process then after its up and growing let soil dry more between waterings.

You do not need any nutrients for germination. Period. What you need is to have those rooter plugs out of the water if they are resting in it. Having them constantly wet will kill the seeds. Touch them, they should feel moist, not wet, theres a big difference. I spray mine with a spray bottle when theyre almost dry. Idk if this is the case but im tryin to give you tips.
the seed contains enough food to get the plant to the first set of leaves past the cody leaves, theyre the first leaves that show, the codys that is. When the next set pops out youll need a tiny amount of nutrients.tap water has dissolved salts in it already so use your ppm meter and check yours, 150 or less is good. If you dont have a ppm meter yet your grow will suck...trust me mr dwc.
temp is a very important part of germination, if your temps are too low youll never get any to germinate.
I plant veggies in rooter cubes and rock wool and i like rooters better. I hate having to ph rock wool, i think if you have to ph it then it should come with ph up and down with the cubes i dont have 100 % with veggies in tose things so if i was using more expensive seeds, personally i would give the paper towl method a go. After you see that they have sprouted, place them into the cubes. Simple. Then dont drown them.
Another option is take those seeds and drop them into dirt. Theyll sprout and grow for a month and a half and then you can clone the plant and fill the six spots in your gizmo. That way will take more time but id consider it more pro than trying to scrog one or two plants. Either way works but i bet you want plants now i would
On and i hate to be a buzz kill but your 10 day old seeds toast. The new one is still ok hopefully. Id bet because the waters touching the cubes so it drowned. What i did was top feed after it sprouts. Three to four times a day with a syringe after it sprouts. Spray bottle just damp before and syringe just damp after. If they dry out they die, if theyre too wet they die. Its a delicate ballance. Aftertop feeding a sprout for a over a week the roots should start to poke through the cube. By then you should already have the hydroton in there. Still not time to let her go. The water should not be touching the hydroton yet or if it is, just barely touching it....the bubbles should be hitting it. Soon enough the roots will dangle into the water. Thats when you can stop top feeding and let the roots take over that job.

personally i germinate in a humidity dome to control the environment a bit better and then drop them into the system. Good luck and pm me if you have any other questions which im sure youll have lots

Yes, you might be trying to germinate the seeds in a place that is too cold. Seeds like to be warm to germ, they need to think that it is springtime, that's why you can buy a heat mat from Hydrofarm to germ your seeds. Or you can just find a warm place like to top of the fridge or your Direct Tv satellite receiver.
