Need nutrient recommendations.

Look for nutes to run with FFOF soil. Photoperiods. 5 gallon pots. Having a hard time picking out nutes.

Do you want organics or salts? Dry or liquid nutrients?
thats what I can’t decide. Im fairly new. Last run i did dr earth. But felt like it wasn’t mixing in good when top dressing. Seems like liquid nutes would give a better intake, but I could be wrong.

When adding top dressing I like to mix it with EWC and some pumice first. At least mix it with the EWC. It also takes awhile for it to breakdown.

I'm also a fan of slow release as Im lazy as shit and prefer to run tap water all the way through...I'm using multicrop organic 3:1:3:1 beads at the moment with this run and will be adding 2tsp of 8-12-16 week four of flower. Don't think you need to use specific "weed" nutes, they are usually blown far out of proportion.

Last run went 103 days on tap water (however I did top dress some seaweed beads, rock dust and yucca powder around week 6 of flower), and this run is at day 43 with no issues yet.

I have been eyeing off green planets line lately. I picked up their back country blend twin pack for $3 the other day (I refuse to pay over $4 for nutes lol). 16-10-8 grow and 8-12-16 bloom.

Cheap is always good. I agreed with the “weed” nutes, basic will work just as good.

Keep in mind that slow release can be a nightmare if the application is wrong and pH swings. Have found more rock dust helps to buffer as I did run into lockout at first when using slow release.

Don't know if it's just me over applying, but I find I get far better results if I water to substantial runoff once or twice a week with these slow release.

I don't usually spruik nutrients, but If you are looking for liquid salts, I recommend green planets line of dual fuel. Very similar to canna Coco a+b, and way cheaper. Works in all mediums despite being geared for Coco. Ends up being 5-3-7.

I have their "massive bloom" (1:1:2 bloom with triacontanol, enzymes and aminos), and my mates been running dual fuel for a few runs with good results. Was nice a cheap, functions like cannazym but with added nutrients, and as a bonus is organic. Was like one fifth of the price of cannazym with added npk.

Have had good luck with any cheap base (tomato liquid feed) with some massive bloom added once a week during bloom.
