thats not true I've never had one show sex that late, a week maybe a few days more at the most

If the plant is mature. It shouldnt take any longer than 2 weeks. A couple days more than that tops.

If your plant takes any 3 weeks to show its sex in 12/12 lighting....It probably wasnt ready to go into 12/12 yet.

No, well then my eyes lied to me! I've seen it with my own eyes. I agree 100% if the plant is not mature it will take longer but some strains will not flower at all no matter what you do. If you tell them (newbies) a week and it goes on 8 days they flip out so they should know what they could expect not what to expect because there are to many variables and growing skills at play..
Sorry if you feel I gave bad info but this is based off of my experience.

i would say that it should show the sex after 9 days of 12/12
