Need Help with Fan Set up and Finding Fan Control, Anyone Good at Elecric?

ok well i dont know dick about the UK but it your trying to slow a fan down over here in the usa i'll just go to walmart and pick up a universal wall adapter that lets you change the setting to the voltage and you rig that up to your fan and then you pick the setting thats the "quietest", if u go to like walmart or radioshack (i dont know what stores are in the UK) wish i could be of more help to you but thats the only thing i could think of but i am sure you can go with one of those controllers you got wish i could help more dude

Unknown is on the right track, you need a resistor or a dimming switch. It will cut down the amps that the fan receives, this will reduce the amount of air flow that the fan produces as well as the noise. For instance, a pc fan that is 12V 0.32A that receives 0.25A will spin slower but quieter.

I mean, you DID kind of post this in the DIY area, you might wanna post in the Indoor Growing section and you'll get more answers...
You can't post in a very slow and mostly dead area of the forum and expect many responses.

As for fans, I just purchased a $40 Stanly Blowerfan to mod, moves a lot of air and works great!
