Need Help with Cloning

Hey guys I just took some clones from both the upper and lower parts of a plant that is about half way through flowering. I have had them in soil and on 24/0 lighting for about 5-7 days and I am not noticing any difference or any growth. The clones are in a box with one 26 watt cfl and I do not have a dome for humidity. The only thing that has happened so far is that a few of the leaves are turning yellow. I was wondering if I took the clones way too late and that is why they aren't growing or if I maybe just have to let them sit a while longer. Any help would be great, thank you in advance.
 
but it is possible correct? I feel like it is a good sign that the entire cloned plant didnt just shrivel up and turn yellow.
 
well the facct that they didnt shrivel is good, I would get some saran wrap and wrap the top of the box so there is half inch open air on either side of the the container you have your clones in. Basically cover 90% of the top with saran wrap leaving a little breather. THey will come back.
 
ok i taped clear plastic cups over each of them and set them back into the box. does it matter that I am using a 2700K CFL? and should i be giving them a 6 hour dark period?
 
no darkness, I do 24 on. When you put those plastic cups over them, pokes some holes in the top. is that CFL a yellow color or a bright white color? I use only the bright white lights for veg.
